Nvidia unveils new RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti graphics cards in India, featuring Blackwell RTX architecture and enhanced gaming performance.
Highlights
  • Nvidia launches RTX 5060 graphics cards in India May 2025.
  • Blackwell RTX architecture provides faster gaming and AI performance.
  • RTX 5060 starts at Rs. 33,000, Ti model at 42,000.

Nvidia has launched its new GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti graphics cards in India. According to Gadgets360, these new computer parts were first shown at CES 2025 and will be available for purchase in May. The cards will be sold on Amazon India. Nvidia created these new graphics cards to give gamers and AI users better performance with improved graphics processing.

For those who don’t know, Nvidia is a big technology company that makes computer parts called GPUs (Graphics Processing Units). Founded in 1993, Nvidia now controls about 80% of the desktop GPU market. Their products are very important not just for playing video games but also for artificial intelligence, data centers, and professional work that needs powerful graphics. Think of GPUs as the special engines that make your computer games look good and run smoothly.

These new graphics cards use something called the Blackwell RTX architecture, which is like a new and improved design. This new design replaces the older one called Ada Lovelace. The Blackwell architecture runs at higher speeds and has more memory storage. It has 4th-Generation RT cores that work twice as fast with complex graphics. It also has 5th-Generation Tensor Cores that help with AI tasks. Think of this new architecture like upgrading from an old phone to a new one – everything works faster and better.

The RTX 5060 is the more affordable option, priced at Rs. 33,000. Here are its main features:

  • 6,144 CUDA cores (these are like small workers that process graphics)
  • 8GB GDDR7 video memory (like storage space for graphics)
  • Best for playing games at 1080p resolution with high frame rates
  • Can deliver over 100 FPS (frames per second) in many popular games

The RTX 5060 Ti is the more powerful version, priced at Rs. 42,000. It offers these improvements:

  • Higher CUDA core count (around 7,680)
  • Up to 16GB GDDR7 video memory (double the basic model)
  • Designed for smooth gaming at 1440p resolution (sharper than 1080p)
  • Better for people who want their games to look nicer and last longer before needing an upgrade

Nvidia claims these new cards are twice as fast as the previous RTX 4060 models. They include special features like DLSS Super Resolution and Ray Reconstruction that make games look better. If you’re not familiar with these terms, think of them as special tricks that make games look more realistic without slowing down your computer. The cards can also handle AI operations up to 759 TOPS (a measure of how many calculations they can do).

Many companies will sell these graphics cards with their own designs, including Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, Zotac, and others. Some will sell versions that run at normal speeds, while others will offer factory-overclocked versions that run a bit faster. The cards will also come in gaming laptops from companies like Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and others. If you’re looking to upgrade your computer for better gaming or AI work, these new graphics cards will be available in May 2025.
